Mad Men.

We love this show. It is absolutely fabulous. The acting and writing are superb and the sets/clothing are to die for. The characters have so much depth. It is one of the best shows ever put on television in my opinion. If you aren't already watching, WATCH. You won't be sorry. Sundays @10 on AMC. Oh, and it just won an Emmy for best tv drama. So it's not just me.

Martha's new episodes start today. Hopefully, they will inspire me to do some good things.

No Spring Daisies.

It has unfortunately come to my attention that my most favorite little show will not be coming back until Fall. Absence does make the heart grow fonder, I suppose. And for any of you who haven't checked it out. Do. It is visually delicious! I adore the look and whimsical nature of the show. And seriously, who wouldn't love a show in which the main character is referred to as "The Piemaker."

Attention History Buffs

My husband and I have watched the first two installments of this miniseries, which is based on David McCullough's Pulitzer Prize-winning biography. It is very well-made. Paul Giamatti stars as John Adams and Laura Linney as Abigail Adams. Apparently, Abigail Adams had some spunk. I really want to learn more about her! Check it out.
