Crazy for Peanuts.

I am not a PB fan, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating this awesome array of PB flavors from PB Loco. And besides I can incorporate it into baked goods, right?!?!? Oh the possibilities. I just learned of this stuff from my friend Bree on her blog Life at 123 House.
Some of the flavors are:
PB with Raspberry White Chocolate
PB with Asian Curry Spice
Sumatra Cinnamon and Raisin

A face only a father could love.

Cake for Dad.

So I haven't blogged too well this year so far. I'm behind, but catching up as we speak. In January I made this cake for my Dad's birthday. It is the Ultimate Coconut Cake from MSL. It is pretty time intensive, but well worth it! Here's my Dad and my niece getting ready to dive in. She liked the frosting, but not the cake. Turns out she's not a big coconut lover.

Peas please.

Spring is almost here. And that means the first crops of the year are about to be planted. . . peas. This got me thinking about recipes. I have never been a huge fan, but Scott really likes them. I have a feeling that I might enjoy them more out of the garden. Here as some recipes I'm planning to try this year:

English Peas in Lemon Thyme Butter

Pea Fritters

Risotto with Peas, Marjoram and Asiago

Sugar Snap Peas with Mint

Pasta with Creamy Mushroom Pea Sauce

Sesame Snap Peas with Carrots & Peppers

Recipes from: Eating Well, All Recipes and Martha Stewart.

Neat Stuff.
